Tell us a little about yourself?
I Grew up in central Minnesota with eight siblings. Yes, eight. With a lot of family members it wasn't always easy to remember each holiday or birthday, but what is for sure is that there will always be the photographs to help remember each event. This is why I fell in love with taking photographs. I am not just taking pictures, I am helping people capture memories.
How did you get started in the photography business?
Two years after graduating from high school my younger sister became a senior and couldn't afford to have senior photos taken professionally. I had always loved messing around with cameras and so I offered to take some for her. Needless to say, I impressed myself with how well they turned out! So from there on I took my camera everywhere and Photographed everyone and everything I could. One day it just clicked and I knew that is what i wanted to be doing.
What inspires you?
I think the thing that inspires me the most is helping people. I love the feeling I get when customers totally love their photos. Capturing the essence of the people or things im photographing is very relaxing to me and it is my all-time favorite thing to do.
